WordPress 2.9 has now been released! Some of the great new features include:
- Global undo/”trash” feature;
- Built-in image editor;
- Batch plugin update and compatibility checking;
- Easier video embeds; and
- Lots of new hooks and filters for the techies out there.
Head on over to WordPress.org to download your copy now. And remember…do a backup before upgrading!

The built in image editor gets my thumbs up. Now just need a feature that prompts my colleagues in the office when it is there turn to publigh a blog article on our wordpress blog… I dream of such a day!
